we love rick reason #2 Rick, we love the fact that despite hybrids being the most over-hyped concept in the modern world, you still are ready to stake the future of GM on these ultra-futuristic beauties. Though data proves that the hybrid is much much before its time, and that it simply cannot account for significant market share even in the next decade, you still refuse to look past. Did somebody tell you that despite hybrids being in the news for more than fifteen years now, they account for only about 2.15% of all vehicle sales in the US and worse in the other markets?

NuWire Investor’s famed Cali Zimmerman compared the price of the Toyota Camry hybrid with the normal version and statistically proved that the cost difference cannot be recovered before 13.8 years. Take a walk Mr. Zimmerman, is what you told him (metaphorically, of course)... And how? The much-hyped hybrid Chevrolet ‘Volt’ project is about to enter full production status by 2010, and according to GM’s revival plan (an exclusive copy of which you guys had sent to us last week), “By 2012, more than half of GM vehicles will be flexi-fuel capable, and the company will offer 15 hybrid models.” Rick, simply put, wow! Ingenuity at its best, we say!
